1. Overview
We respect your right to control your data. You may request deletion of your account at any time through the app or by contacting support.
Account deletion is a two-step confirmation process to prevent accidental or unauthorized removal.
2. How to Request Account Deletion
You can request account deletion by:
- Using the “Delete Account” option in the app settings, or
- Contacting support from your registered email address
Once a request is submitted, your account will enter a pending deletion state.
3. Email Confirmation
After submitting a deletion request, you will receive a confirmation email with two options:
- Confirm Deletion → Proceed with account deletion
- Do Not Delete Account → Cancel the deletion request
If no action is taken, the request will remain active and proceed as scheduled.
4. Deletion Timeline
- Your account and associated data will be permanently deleted within 30 days from the date of confirmation or request submission.
- During this period, your account may be:
- Hidden or restricted
- Not visible to other users
5. What Happens During the 30-Day Period
- You may cancel deletion at any time by selecting “Do Not Delete Account” via the email link or contacting support.
- If canceled, your account will be restored to normal use.
6. Data Deletion
When deletion is completed:
- Your profile, posts, and personal data will be permanently removed from our systems
- Some residual data may remain temporarily in backups but will be deleted according to our retention policies
7. Exceptions
We may retain limited information if required for:
- Legal obligations
- Security and fraud prevention
- Enforcement of terms and policies
8. Irreversibility
Once the deletion process is completed:
- Your account cannot be recovered
- You will need to create a new account to use the app again
